One of the nominated short films of the 2010 Academy Awards, French Roast plays on stereotypes and comedic tension revolving around a man who is too embarrassed to reveal he’s forgotten his wallet. The animated film by Fabrice O. Joubert uses caricatures in hopes of false assumptions from the audience on how things may turn out for the protagonist. And it does keep you guessing.
