An American in Paris finds himself stalked by the city’s surveillance cameras soon after his plane lands. American paranoia? At first maybe, until the sinister operators behind the cameras begin to surface, terrorizing the recent MIT graduate. Flagged as a “dark horse” by this year’s ComicCon bloggers, Urban Wolf may become the first successful international thriller web series; it was shot entirely in Paris and features a cross-continental cast. With its timely premise (security cameras are now ev-ery-where), slick production values and Parisian chase scenes, you’ll likely be watching this series on a major studio site, if not eventually on a bigger screen. But not until after it’s unveiled to industry execs at LA’s ITV fest in August. Until then, you’ll have to settle for the trailer.
